Traveling with one kid at a time.

As a mom of three, I love spending quality and quantity time with my kids. Before a traveler, I am a mom first. I try to give each one of them my full attention, making them feel loved and special everytime. But how do I do this if I have three? Since traveling is one of my passions, I realized that one way to do this is by traveling with each of them every time I have the chance and means. This gives us an opportunity to know our child more and will encourage them to talk about their dreams, about school or sports, and even about their love life. Aside from making them feel important, they will have beautiful memories to treasure forever.

I have tried traveling with my kids one at a time. It was a wonderful experience and we really had so much fun. And I am looking forward to traveling with one of them again soon.   IMG_0092

How To Plan A Mom/Dad And Child Trip :

  1. Check your schedule and your child’s school calendar for a long weekend vacation or when their school ends. Ask your child where he/she would like to go or you can give options if you are on a budget. By knowing the available dates, you would be able to look for early promotions on fares and accommodations. Aside from domestic and international destinations, you can go on road trips, visit or stay in local places nearby, or you can consider to do camping or glamping.  IMG_2080
  2. When you have decided where to go, you can start planning for the activities or the things that you can do together. You can look up for nice restaurants or places where you can find his/her favorite food.
  3. Make sure to devote all your attention to your child when you travel together.
  4. Just have fun. IMG_2589IMG_2690

Letting your children know that spending time with them individually is as important as traveling all together. This may add cost or might exceed your travel expenses, but it will definitely be all worth it!
